1) Networked Feminism is feminism that is divided into waves to explain the cultural context in which they began. This aims to tackle social inequality issues found on both, and using modern technology.
2) The four waves of feminism is that the first wave which began in the 19th century to the early 20th century which focused on suffrage and the second wave feminism was focused on equal rights and equal pay between men and women after this since the 1990's there was more of a focus on third wave feminism which is identified as women's empowerment and the reclaiming of femininity. the fourth wave feminism is the present one as it created more opportunities for more voices within the media.
3) The everyday sexism website was set up after the owner called Laura Bates realised this was a huge problem that was being ignored and normalised in the media. This website allows people to write about their daily sexist experiences.
HeForShe: This was a campaign that was set up by Emma Watson which fought for equality for men and women and this mainly promoted things like how a women should be given a successful career regardless her having children. This reinforces men and women to stand up for their rights and show a change.
FCKH8: This is a viral video campaign which tackles social inequality and sells T shirts and various other things that promote these changes to be made. It focuses on racism, sexism and homophobia and represents femininity to the majority of women.
This Girl can: This focuses on body shaming and the number of women playing sport and it is not because females don't want to get active. Millions of women and girls are afraid to exercise because of fear of judgement.
4) I think that now the media technologies are becoming more developed and more voices are being heard it suggests that there are new approaches to feminism but i do not believe that we are in era of post feminism yet because there are still things happening in society which contradict this. Also these projects like the everyday sexism has helped people in society as they have learn't too fight and say no to certain things which is good. This may be a extension from the 1990's as equality is still being fought for today.
